To Err is Human, To Forgive is Impossible

Cheaper to Keep Her

Kobe Bryant is getting taken to the cleaners like a sperm stained bridesmaid’s dress and it couldn’t happen to a more deserving person. While I genuinely hate this dude’s breathing pattern, his recent plight made me think of the F word. No, not THAT F word you sick genital gumps, I’m talking about forgiveness.

Recently, I’ve been reevaluating the concept of forgiving and forgetting. I used to be under the notion that unless you forgot, you couldn’t completely forgive. Now, I’m honestly not so sure. Some people use the excuse of “well I always have to remember what you did to me” as a reason not to forget. That’s somewhat true, protecting yourself and growing from hurt is crucial to life. However, most people use the forgetting portion to throw it in the offenders face. The line is currently escaping me.

HOW MUCH FORGETTING DO YOU HAVE TO DO IN ORDER TO FORGIVE???

  1. You should forget enough so that any future action on your part is not in reference to anything the person said or did. That is forgiving.
